If you have tried to print more than once, your print "job" (the document you sent to the printer) might be stuck behind other documents that aren't loading. This is a known issue with the new Macs that we are working to resolve!
In the meantime, you can try the following workaround. Note that this works for Macs only. This will not work for the Windows desktops in the Main Reading Room. If you are having trouble printing from one of the Windows desktops, please talk to staff at the Reference Desk or the Circulation Desk to get help.
(1) Open a browser (Chrome, Firefox, etc.)
(2) In the address bar, type the following: localhost:631 . Hit enter.
This should bring up a list of the print jobs currently pending from your workstation. From here, you can cancel any print jobs that are frozen (that is, not going anywhere). This should leave your other print jobs free to send to the printer.
