Can I check out books from the Worcester Art Museum (WAM)?

Holy Cross students, faculty and staff can check books out of the WAM Library by visiting in person.  You will need to present their Holy Cross ID card just as you would at Holy Cross.  Books can be renewed through your online library account, and check-out periods and limits are the same as for Holy Cross books. It is also possible to request books from WAM via ILL, but note that this does not necessarily result in a faster turnaround (and you are not guaranteed to receive WAM's copy).

Books may be returned to Dinand Library front desk OR the ILL department in Dinand Library, for return to the WAM Library on the MLS shuttle.

Because of the specialized nature of the WAM library, the staff reserves the right to limit the books that are checked out with regard to price, fragility, or uniqueness.

Please note that HC students and staff can also make copies of materials in the WAM library, free of charge; please ask the librarian for the key to the copier.
